Gouache - Brushes

Painters using gouache can employ the sable and other soft hair brushes used for transparent watercolor. Bristle brushes normally used for oil panting can also be employed. Synthetic nylon bristle brushes have been found to be useful for handling stiffer opaque gouache consistencies, as they keep the resilience of their bristles when wet more than do the natural bristle brushes.
