Drying Oils - Soya Bean Oil

Soya bean oil is made from the seeds of a plant that was originally grown in the orient but is now cultivated in the United States as well. The oil dries slowly, and its films are softer than those of linseed oil. It is used extensively in combination with alkyd resins in industrial paints and has occasionally been used in artists' colors.
