Straight Lines

A straight line is the shortest distance between two points. A straight line with breadth displays weight in addition to length and direction. As a line becomes heavier, its endings become more and more prominent, displaying shape characteristics of their own. Used as an edge to a plane, a line divides positive and negative space or distinguishes one plane from another.
